Meeting Dates
Chearsley Parish Council meets on the 3rd Monday of the month at 7.30pm in the Village Hall except September when there is no meeting and December which is usually the second Monday. Parish Council meetings are public meetings and all Parishioners and other members of the public are welcome to attend. There are two 10 minute spaces on the agenda of every meeting where Parishioner can raise any topic of interest or concern.
There are two Annual Meetings:
Annual Village Meeting. This is a statutory open meeting of the Parish where clubs, societies and the Parish Council report on their previous year's activities and plans for the forthcoming year. Everyone in the village is invited and anyone can ask for an item to be put on the agenda (contact the Parish Clerk at the PC email address) and/or raise items for discussion at the meeting. It is not a Parish Council meeting even though it is organised and facilitated by the Parish Council.
Annual General Meeting of the Parish Council. This is a short session usually preceding the May Parish Council meeting. The election of the Chairman and Vice Chairman takes place at this meeting together with appointment of committee members and representatives to other bodies.
